Snoring is the noise that occurs when when air causes the soft tissues in your neck to vibrate. Snoring is caused by anything that narrows your breathing passages. To reduce snoring you can try nasal strips, if overweight you can try to lose weight, avoid alcohol, and sleep on your side.
4. How does drinking coffee affect sleep?
Coffee stimulates your brain and it takes about 3 to 7 hours for your body to metabolize a half serving of coffee. The caffeine can disrupt your sleeping patterns.
5. Can people sleep too much?
It is possible to get too much sleep, and if you sleep more than 8 hours a night and wake up still feeling tired it could be a result of an underlying condition. If you feel that you are sleeping too much, you should consult your physician.
